Sukoon e dil ke liye kuch
to ehtimaam karoon
zara nazar to mile
phir unhe salaam karoon

Mujhe to hosh nahi
aap mashwara dijay
kahan se chedoon fasana
kahan tamaam karoon

Unhi ke zulam ka shikwa karoon zamane se
unhi ke haq main duaein main subah shaam karoon

Woh bewafa hain to ham ne Shakeel soch liya
mujhe kasam hai kisi se agar kalam karoo

      Legendary Dilip Kumar has also sang first two couplets in an old interview. He sang it so well like a classical singer.

    The first two couplets of this ghazal were recited by the legendary Dilip Kumar at a mushayra in the honour of Kunwar Mahendra Singh Bedi 'Seher'.
